Zambia Top-flight side unveils Ugandan Forward

Zambian Super League side Kansanshi Dynamos FC have officially unveiled Ugandan forward Joseph Ssemujju as their latest signing ahead of the Transitional League. Ssemujju joins the Fearless Mabanga Boys on a free transfer from Uganda Premier League side URA FC, signing a 17-month contract with the Zambian outfit. The striker expressed his excitement after completing the move and promised to contribute goals as he begins a new chapter in his career. “I’m excited and happy to be here. Kansanshi Dynamos fans should expect goals because I’m a striker, and my role is to try and score goals. I want to elevate my game, do my best and push for the team,” Ssemujju said. Kansanshi Dynamos General Secretary Mweshi Mupeta welcomed the Ugandan forward, explaining that his arrival is part of the club’s efforts to assemble a competitive squad ahead of the Transitional League. “We are pleased to welcome Joseph to Kansanshi Dynamos. We believe his qualities will add value to the team as we prepare for the Transitional League. We look forward to seeing him contribute to the Club’s objectives and settle well into the team,” Mupeta said. Ssemujju will also link up with fellow Ugandan midfielder Keziron Kizito, who is already part of the Kansanshi Dynamos squad. The move marks another opportunity for the Ugandan forward to showcase his abilities outside the Uganda Premier League as he looks to make an impact in Zambian football.
