KCCA FC have completed the signing of experienced defender Maxwell Owachgui on a two-year contract from Buhimba United Saints FC.
Owachgui arrives at Lugogo with a wealth of experience and leadership qualities, having served as captain of Kitara FC from 2017 to 2025. During his time at the Hoima-based club, he established himself as one of the team's most influential figures both on and off the pitch.
Before his successful spell at Kitara FC, the defender also featured for Booma Young FC, further building his reputation as a reliable and commanding presence at the back.
The former Kitara captain becomes KCCA FC's third signing of the transfer window following the arrivals of Elvis Ngonde and Charles Lwanga as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
